“Ernst Haible Automobile from Blaustein offers a magnetic paint thickness tester, which can allegedly go head-to-head with electronic (and thus more expensive) equipment. The handling is simple: Put on the tester pen on the paint, carefully pull the cover until the magent of the Car Paint Tester is pulled by the internal spring away from the surface and read the scale. We made comparison measurements with a professional device for about 300 euros using calibrated test films. Result: It works exactly!”
